Norman Suescun is a visual artist specialized in photography and film. He has held teaching positions at some of Colombia’s leading universities, including the Universidad Nacional de Colombia, Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, and the Instituto Departamental de Bellas Artes. His professional practice has been particularly marked by curatorship, a field in which he has built a solid body of work through extensive experience in the design, organization, and development of exhibitions.
He launched Fundación Espacio Interferencia, a platform dedicated to making contemporary artistic practices visible through exhibitions, audiovisual projects, and documentaries. Currently, this initiative continues its work under the name interferencia-media, a flexible digital platform centered on the image, which promotes a dynamic practice in constant dialogue with various contexts. The image, especially through its photographic and cinematic dimensions, constitutes the central axis of the project, from which experimental proposals are articulated with a critical perspective focused on the analysis of visual representations and their implications.
